You.
I've learned this year that losing someone isn't the hardest part. The hardest part is missing them, and knowing they're missing what comes next. I've been thinking about that a lot on this trip, revisiting places I once saw with my dad.
You found my note. In a world where we can connect more readily than ever, we aren't reaching out to each other. This note was originally left in Milan, Italy, for you, or whoever found it first. I invite you to add something to the letter: what's on your mind, how life is treating you, what you'd like to say to the next person. Feel free to sketch, add a sticker, make it a little bit yours, because it is. Then take it with you to your next destination and leave it for the next person to find.
This is a personal project, done purely for the simple pleasure of it. Please bear in mind that anything you add will be public.
Let's see where this goes. James
